Graham ISD Appoints Alicia Arvizu as PEIMS Coordinator

Graham ISD has selected Alicia Arvizu as the district’s new PEIMS Coordinator. This role manages requests from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and uses the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS), which includes data on student demographics and academic performance, personnel, financial, and organizational information.
Mrs. Arvizu will fill the position that will be vacant in January 2026 due to the retirement of Debbie Townley. Mrs. Townley is retiring after 19 years of exemplary service to Graham ISD. Mrs. Arvizu will transition over the next few months to ensure consistency across our schools.
The district is pleased to welcome Mrs. Arvizu to her new role, building on her 25 years of service in a variety of positions within Graham ISD. Most recently, Mrs. Arvizu served as the PEIMS Administrative Assistant for Woodland Elementary.
“Mrs. Arvizu is a well-respected colleague known for her extensive experience, knowledge and hard work,” Superintendent Dr. Mary Johnston said.
Mrs. Arvizu began her career as an ESL paraprofessional at Shawnee and Pioneer Elementary Schools. Then she served in the attendance office at Graham High School, followed by working as the PEIMS administrative assistant at Pioneer Elementary and Woodland Elementary.
Mrs. Arvizu is a 1984 graduate of Graham High School and her five children also attended and graduated from the district. She has been married to her husband Reynaldo for 39 years, and they have seven, and soon-to-be nine, grandchildren. She is an active member in the community, including St. Mary Catholic Church, where she plays the piano.
