I begain teaching in Graham ISD in 1999.  My first job was teaching First Grade at Crestview Elementary.  The following year I moved to teach 8^th grade science at GJHS.  I took a year off after having my son.  I then went to Newcastle ISD and worked one-on-one with a Special Needs student for a year since there were no job opportunities in Graham ISD.  The following year, 2003 I came back to GJHS and taught 6^th grade math for two years and 6^th grade science for 5 years.  I took three years off.  Then I came back to teach at the Graham Learning Center as Lead Teacher and Math and Science.  The following year I returned to GJHS to teach 6^th Grade science and am very happy to be continuing this year.

I am married to Willy Perkins.  We married in August of 1997.

I have one son at UMHB and three step-children grown with children

We have one dog named Kai

I love to read, spend time with my family and shop.

My family enjoys Kayaking and camping.
