My name is Jeanne Richardson.  I teach 7^th &  8^th grade Science at Graham Junior High School.  I live in the country near Jacksboro with my husband of 30+ years.  We have two daughters and two son-in-loves.  Jenna Lee Baker is our oldest.  She lives near Aubrey, Texas with her husband Matt, grandson Corban and grandaughter Lynnlee.  Jessica Jeske is our youngest daughter.  She and her husband Chaz lives south of Pearland near Houston.  Jessica is a marine biologist and works as a systems analyst for a company in Houston.

My favorite pass time, when not teaching, is to travel.  I have had many adventures around the world.  In the photo above, I was fishing for halibut near Juneau, Alaska, and had the opportunity to help pull a crab pot on the way into port.  The crab I am holding was gigantic and delicious!  I’ve traveled to 49 states, still missing Rhode Island.  I have also traveled to many countries.

For over 30 years I have also been a professional photographer.  I own a photo studio and company called Rockin’ R Photography.  I continue to do photography on weekends and during the summer.

I attended Texas Tech University where I earned a B.S. in Animal Science.  I also attended Texas A&M University and received my M.A. degree in Animal Science.  After graduation, I worked as a ranch computer consultant for A&M, for the Soil Conservation Service and for many ranchers around the state.  After I married my husband, I moved to Snyder, Texas and continued my consultant business.  I also taught courses at Snyder College.

After the birth of our first daughter, we moved near Jacksboro because of my husband's employment.  Shortly after, our second daughter was born.  I put my teaching career on hold to stay at home with our girls.  Since both are now out of college, I am following my own dream in public school at Graham.
